Live Radio Show Announcement – 64-bit Speech Engine and Speech Humor Contest Winner

When I was last invited to the VoIP User Conference Radio Show in December, we talked about natural text-to-speech voices and launched the speech humor contest to put these voices to work.

Here is a recording of the last broadcast covering Text-to-Speech Technology:

This Friday at 12pm ET, we’ll play the funniest submissions and the listeners vote will determine the winner.

The discussion will be about speech recognition technology, which has lately taken center stage though the widespread mobile adoption. We will talk about how we have taken a powerful 64-bit speech engine that is used by thousands of companies exclusively within the unified communications space to work with any platform that supports the industry standard MRCP interface.  The integrations with Asterisk, Avaya and Genesys are fully working,  and Cisco has officially certified the engine to work with CVP and their MRCP enabled routers.

This live, interactive web-radio broadcast promises to be a very interesting discussion and a fun time with the lighter side of technology.
